# NFTs at a Glance

The games industry is on the cusp of a climatic evolution as it’s predicted to be worth more than **$200 billion** by the end of 2024. As gaming has grown to become the world's largest media category ahead of previous entertainment industries including TV, film and music, distinct characteristics have developed with it. The blockchain-based gaming sector has attracted interest from multiple known organizations from fashion (Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry etc.) to specialized VC funds (Animoca Brands, Defiance Capital, Merit Circle etc.) to gaming groups (Ubisoft, etc.) all of whom have started pouring resources into this massively growing sector.

We firmly believe that the **Free-to-Play** game model powered by **NFTs** will flourish and open a new era in the blockchain industry.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://scarspeed.gitbook.io/whitepaper/market-overview/nfts-at-a-glance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
